MuntInternet Networks B.V. was founded in a home hosting environment in 1998, offering hosting capacity from a datacenter in Paris. By 2002 our activities grew exponentially, up to scale in which we were able to significantly expand our capacity and create our own network in Amsterdam. Currently we are managing one of the largest networks in the Netherlands, divided over three different datacenters.

Independent hosting provider

Since 2003 we operate as a completely independent hosting provider, in those times we provided servers to a select group of internet entrepreneurs. This select group of people consisted out of the largest and most frequently visited websites in the world, clients that today still entrust us with their hosting and platform management needs. As these clients had and still have a top tier quality demand, we created our network according to these standards. As one of few parties in the hosting industry, we manage and maintain our own network and are therefore classified as a TIER2 provider. Our organization mostly specializes in large and scalable cluster environments and still is an industry leader in this field.

Load balancing platform

Nowadays we’re one of the first hosting providers using the hypermodern Juniper MX960 routers and Juniper EX4200 switches which are able to process hundreds of Gbits a second, each. This means that we’re able to host the largest projects in the world within our own network. We also have our own load balancing platform available which our clients can use directly. By doing so, significant investments are avoided for you as a client and user.

Quality network

The quality of hosting networks around the world can vary greatly. Although the general price of bandwidth has significantly dropped throughout the last years, it’s not common knowledge that enormous differences exist between several hosting providers. Low budget hosting partners often use hardware which is more than ten years old, combined with low-cost transits, leading to a cost-effective offer which is appealing to the eye and budgets. The quality however generally lies far below what may be expected. We make a different choice, servicing a target audience who value quality above anything else. Happily this doesn’t mean we’re that expensive, being a large party and processing enormous volumes, we are able to offer our hosting services against great pricing.
